Dogs are man’s best friend and they deserve caring from the hands that feed them.  Dogs are usually brought home when they are still cute puppies and are thus easy to love no matter what.

Most people think that dressing up a dog is just like dressing a doll or a toy but dogs really need to be dressed not only as a fashion sense but to keep them warm as well.  A dog’s normal body heat or temperature is 100.5 degrees so a canine body temperature of 95 degrees can already lead to death.

A dog has to be properly measured to make sure the dog coat fits him properly. The dog should be measured while standing heads up and this can be done by letting another family member play with the dog or keep him still even for a few minutes.
When buying dog coats, the consideration should not merely be the design or the color.  The main purpose is to keep the dog warm so dog coats that are fit and are easily worn and removed from the dogs should be chosen.  Also avoid dog coats that have Velcro as it may tangle with the dog’s hair.
